European Cancer Organisation
The European Cancer Organisation aims to reduce the burden of cancer, improve outcomes and the quality of care for cancer patients, through multidisciplinarity and multiprofessionalism. As the not-for-profit federation of member organisations working in cancer at a European level, the European Cancer Organisation convenes oncology professionals and patients to agree policy, advocate for positive change and speak up for the European cancer community.
EONS is proud to be a partner of:
European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO)
EONS regularly partners with the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) by holding our congresses alongside the ESMO Annual Congress. We also work on a number of different guidelines together and we are grateful to ESMO for financial support of EONS’ operations.
ESMO’s core mission is to improve the quality of cancer care, from prevention and diagnosis all the way to palliative care and patient follow-up. It is to educate – doctors, cancer patients and the general public – on the best practices and latest advances in oncology. And it is to promote equal access to optimal cancer care for all patients.
European School of Oncology (ESO)
The European School of Oncology – ESO – was established in 1982 as a non-profit organisation exclusively dedicated to increasing the knowledge of health professionals in cancer care. Our relations with ESO focus on providing high quality educational opportunities such as masterclasses and fellowship grants for cancer nurses.
