EONS President Virpi Sulosaari congratulates all cancer nurses across Europe on European Cancer Nursing Day (ECND24). In her video message Virpi says: “This ECND24, we look back with pride at all the incredible things our organisation has achieved over the last four decades, but more importantly we look to the future and how, together, we can continue to shape cancer nursing in Europe.
“We believe that well-educated and well-supported cancer nurses can bring down the cancer burden and provide better patient care. It’s time to recognise specialist cancer nurses across Europe: their resilience and expertise are the keys to success in an era when healthcare is changing rapidly.”
