TRANSiTION is an EU-funded project aimed at transforming cancer care across Europe through digital health solutions. By harnessing digital health technologies, the project strives to improve cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Through training and education, TRANSiTION equips healthcare professionals, patients, and informal carers with the digital skills needed to enhance cancer care quality and outcomes.

- Duration: March 2023 – March 2025 (24 months)
- Funding: Co-funded by the European Union under the EU4Health programme 2021-2027
- Partners: 25 partner organisations from 14 member states
- Objective: Enhancing HCPs’ digital skills for safe, effective use and adoption of new technologies.
EONS’s role in TRANSiTION
EONS plays a important role in Work Package 6 (WP6) by driving the communication and dissemination efforts of the TRANSiTION project. As a key partner, EONS leverages its network to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and promote the adoption of digital health solutions in cancer care. Through tailored communication strategies, including the creation of informative materials, hosting events, and utilizing social media channels, EONS ensures that the project’s insights and benefits reach healthcare professionals, patients, and carers across Europe, ultimately supporting the digital transformation in oncology nursing.
