Meet the New Board Members:
Dimitrios Protogiros, Greece – Early Career Working Group Chair
Dimitrios Protogiros is a dedicated cancer nurse and Scientific Advisor to the Ministry of Health in Greece. As the newly elected Early Career Board Member, he brings extensive expertise, having completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with further education in cancer nursing and palliative care both in Greece and abroad.
Stavroula Chante, UK – Communication Working Group Chair
Stavroula Chante is the Macmillan Lead Cancer Nurse at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust in the UK, with over 10 years of experience in the NHS. Originally from Greece, Stavroula Chante brings a deep understanding of healthcare models and is committed to improving patient outcomes by leading strategic cancer services. She also teaches haemato-oncology at Oxford Brookes University.
